We loved staying there!!

We loved staying here. It is very convenient, especially if you have children! Gear up, ski out, then come back for lunch! It is clean and comfortable - 4 adults and 3 kids. MaRyan's is great to work with - we left something behind and she was gracious enough to call and offer to mail it back! Thanks Mary - well be back next ski season!

Cozy Ski Getaway
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Great location right near the trails. The unit has a wonderful and inviting cabin vibe to it. Spacious living room area that was great to hang out by the fire and lounge around. Great Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Porch and spacious enough for multiple guests. It was very convenient to get to and super close to the main street. I would definitely recommend. Mary was a pleasure to deal with: Responsive, helpful and polite. A++ from me and all of my company.

Great ski vacation spot!

It was 7 of us, including two 6-year old children (2 families). Everyone was very comfortable and no one had to sleep on the two large sofas downstairs. We found the property as described. It was very cozy and roomy at the same time. There was a "dressing" area for skis and skiers inside near the front. Smart! Rustic design provided additional charm. The 2nd floor consisted of 2 master bedrooms and 3rd bedroom with the double-bunk bed, but only 1 bathroom (full). The 3rd level was a loft with 2 children's beds overlooking the 3rd bedroom. Kids had lots of fun running up and down and playing in what they dubbed their "play room" (the loft with the 2 beds mentioned earlier). The rooms looked great! The 2nd bathroom (full) was on the 1st level near the entrance. Kitchen and dining room (good for about 10 people) exited out to the wooden deck that wrapped around the front of the house. Unfortunately the view from the deck/living room was of the parking lot, not the mountain, but it was not a big deal since we spent our time out on the slopes. The house is located near the "green" trail and we did not have to drive to ski. The only time we drove was to drop off our children to the learning center as it would take us a lot more effort to ski and then walk there. There was no dishwasher, but we managed. The fireplace worked well and we enjoyed our evenings looking at fire. We didn't care much for TV. We expected to find a large grill outside, but it did not exist. Perhaps we didn't read the description well. The owner was nice enough to provide us with a small table-top charcoal grill on short notice, and we made some steaks out on the deck! We wished there were more bathrooms though; at least 2 on the bedroom level. 2 bathrooms worked well for us, but it wouldn't be enough if we had more people. Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back! The owner, Mary, was very attentive and responded quickly to all our inquiries. Thank you, Mary!

Best home away from home and then some!!”
5 of 5 starsReviewed yesterday for a stay in July 2015 NEW
What a great place. We immediately felt at home and found every ammenity one could think of. The pictures don't nearly do justice to the size and beauty of this home. My only wish is we could have stayed longer!
We had a great time here and would definitely recommend it. From this house you can ski right down to the Hunter Mountain main lodge. The house is very cozy and was perfect for relaxing after a long day and watching television. The kitchen had all the utensils and seasonings we needed to cook all of our meals. Sleeping accommodations were comfy and could easily fit the 9 advertised. Best of all the owner was always quick to respond and helpful with anything we needed. We hope to come back!~Alex Jan 2015
Staying at Mary's 3BR Condo was an awesome experience and the perfect place to enjoy our winter getaway snowboarding trip. The place is huge, super well equipped, with everything a group of people could need. My 3years old daughter had a blast, and all of the grown up ones were also so happy to be able to step out of the door, put their boards and ride to the lift... As well as to return back straight from the mountain. Mary keeps the place impeccable and so cozy! We were also really happy to find so many board-games. We will definitely will come back...
This was our second year staying at this condo. We had such a good time last year we had to come back. The condo is well appointed and has all the necessities and more. The crock pot was great to have. Put the meat in in the morning and a delicious meal was ready when we finished skiing; no fuss, no mess. There were 2 families, 4 adults, 3 teens and 2 kids, and there was plenty of room. The condo was clean and welcoming. It is truly a ski in/out this trip since we were blessed with a fresh foot of snow the day day before we arrived. We skied back right to the door! The kids are already talking about next year's trip.
so convenient to the slopes. it was really snowing when we were there and the roads leading up to condo were taken care of well, which was nice. the condo is clean and most importantly really warm! mary the owner is a pleasure to work with and is prompt with emails and deposits. will be back.~February 2014
This property was amazing - spacious, comfortable and literally a stone's throw away from the mountain. Mary was also great, leaving everything set up for our arrival.
Great place to enjoy a weekend right on the slopes. Went with 7 friends and all of us would go back again. The decor is very "ski lodge" and the location is perfect as you can literally ski-in and ski-out in seconds. All the rooms/bathrooms have skylights which is really nice, although it does get bright early that way. The place is fully stocked with blankets/linens/towels/kitchen stuff which is nice too. Mary was a very helpful host and we would definitely stay at her house again.
The only thing more lovely than the condo was Mary. She made the experience so seamless and has thought of all the right things to make the stay easy. It's a great place in a great location and I know we'll be back again!
Our time at the Hunter Mtn Condo was fabulous and Mary was an amazing, responsive and kind host. In truth, she really could not have made this easier for our group and she was accommodating with our late night arrival time. She truly takes her role seriously and we felt well taken care of. The condo itself is accurately portrayed in pictures and it is superbly located near the mountain itself, the town of Hunter and many great natural resources in the surrounding area. The unit was stocked with everything that one could need and has a nice 'mountain' flare with many local works of art. A fun place to stay and perfect for a weekend ski or hiking/trail running adventure. Our group happened to hike the Devil's Path in a day and this site was literally at the halfway point mileage wise; perfect for car drops the night before and a celebration the night after.
Mary was an awesome host and very helpful with information about the house and things to do in the area. I loved the place and it was the perfect space for my family. It was clean and comfortable!
What Bonnie loved about your listing:
I loved the condo! It was decorated with Mountain decor and was the perfect space for my family and I to spend a weekend away on the Mountain! The condo was clean and comfortable!
We loved the condo so much that we booked it again. Perfect location just next to the ski slopes.
Fantastic condo. Everything was exactly as described. We had a wonderful weekend and we'll definitely go back. Highly recommended!
Mary is a great host that was helpful with all the questions we had and offered advice on nearby activities. We had a wonderful time at the cabin and since it is located right at the ski slope, we went hiking and zip lining right outside the door. The house is well equipped and clean; would highly recommend going here for some for some relaxing days upstate New York!
Excellent! The house is fantastic. Everything working fine, very equipped and Mary set up every detail for us to have a pleasant stay. December 22-26, 2014~Flavio

I just want to start by saying that Mary the owner was a PLEASURE to deal with. She is so easy to communicate with!! Her condo was beautiful and very clean upon our arrival. We did not need to bring anything with us other than our skis and food. She had plenty of towels, linens, blankets, toiletries, games, movies, etc. We absolutely loved the "ski room" to leave all our skis, boots, etc. after a day skiing. We all loved the ski on-ski off! Mary also recommended a great place to eat called Cosmic Charlies. Food was delicious and workers very friendly. Can't wait to eat there again. We are so happy with our stay that I booked our 2014 stay before we were even home.
Beautiful Home, Amazing Experience, Highly Recommended

I've been to Hunter Mountain several times with friends for the TAP Beer Festival, and this was by far the best experience I've ever had. The house was conveniently located in walking distance from the festival, and absolutely beautiful - so cozy, clean, and cutely-decorated. It was also stocked with basic supplies - pots and pans, spices, cleaning supplies, paper towels, linens, and so on - which isn't always the norm up at Hunter. It's also warm - which isn't always the norm - and very comfortable. Plenty of couches and comfy beds. It has a lovely balcony with a swing, a beautiful view, and two kinds of barbecues. There's also plenty of parking if you're going up with a big group of family members or friends. Mary was absolutely wonderful to deal with - so sweet and responsive (she also made everything so easy - the rules of the house were simple to follow, and "check in" and "check out" were a cinch). The price is also very reasonable. It's no wonder she has "regulars" who come up every year. I plan to become one of them!
Great time by all

We just spent a few days at this great mountian condo, 4 adults 4 kids. Plenty of room for the 8 of us. Spent 2 days skiing and boarding and the conditions were good even with the lack of snow. Ski on ski off definatly a plus dressed the kids up and let them go. Met back for lunch and back out to the slopes. We will definatly go back again. Mary the owner was great to deal with and made us all feel very welcome. Can't wait to get back there again.
great condo, great location

this condo was all we could ask for. nice big comfortable living room. the dinning room was large enough for all eight of us. the bedrooms are a nice size with cable tv and queen size beds. the condo was very clean and well decorated with everything provided for you. the best part was the location. about twenty feet from the condo is the ski slopes with a trail that leads you right to the hunter mountain base lodge. the owner was a real pleasure to work with, very responsive to emails and phone calls. look forward to coming back.

This was (supposed) to be our second year in a row staying at one of Mary's properties - but we were derailed by superstorm Sandy. After a long series of events, our group could not return to stay at the property. Throughout the entire process, Mary couldn't have been nicer! She made herself available even in the midst of a hurricane in order to answer all our questions and was more than accommodating when it came to a variety of payment delays. You simply could not ask for a better experience/owner/all around wonderful person! I really can't express what a positive experience this was. Mary took all the stress out of a stressful storm.
So even though we weren't able to take advantage of her house (which is really quite lovely based on prior experiences), we had an overwhelmingly positive experience!
